Journey through the Chakras: yoga workshop
Experience a journey through the chakras for physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing.
Chakras (meaning ‘wheels’) are powerful centres in the body where physical, mental, emotional and spiritual energy converge and cross. The Hatha Yogic system notes seven particularly powerful ‘chakras’ which run along the spine up to the crown of the head.
In this workshop, you will be introduced to each of the seven chakras and be guided to experience their subtle characteristics. This will be through a practice blending yin yoga, visualisation, mudra, mantra and meditation.
Whether you are new to Yoga or more experienced, all are welcome to join. Depending on where you are on your path of development and yoga practice, this afternoon aims to deepen your insight into your own wellbeing, as well experiencing the different energies of the chakras.
Led by Divya, a senior accredited Hatha Yoga teacher, advanced accredited Restorative Teacher and Mindfulness facilitator.
